Then I discovered HCI.
I received my B.A. in English and Interactive Design, where I was first introduced to Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). The intersection of my degrees sparked my passion for using research and design as tools for advocacy, creating experiences that reflect and respond to the needs of others.
Before I knew HCI, I knew kids.
As the pictures show, I’ve loved working with children since I was one myself! Their endless curiosity and big imaginations have always inspired my approach to life. Years of caring for and learning alongside them have ultimately shaped the way I approach technological innovation today.
Then the two paths came together.
While pursuing my master’s degree and simultaneously working as a caregiver for two children, I began to realize how my interests in research, design, and technology could be used to advocate for the people I care most about: kids.
Follow me on that journey!
